Licensing
Caribou CMS is licensed per domain, by default. So, for each domain (example.com), you will need to purchase a unique license. Licensing fees are below:
- Free Trial Version - Caribou CMS is available completely free and unrestricted for up to 100 registered users per site. Once the user limit is reached, your license will de-activate and you will be notified that a license upgrade is necessary. Upgrading is very fast and easy (no new downloads, just enter the key in the control panel) and ALL of your users/content/products/records etc. stay with your web site. Download the trial version today.
- Domain License - On Sale for $299 One-Time Fee (save $100!) - This is the standard full license for Caribou CMS. You don't pay any recurring fees and there are absolutely no limits on your installation besides the encoding of a few core library files (to protect our license protection system). All module code, templates, administration functions, etc. are completely open source for your own custom development (or professional development from a Caribou professional). License Notes
You may change the domain of your license only for legitimate reasons (such as a site move or site purchase). However, all domain changes are at the discretion of the developers of Caribou CMS. Upon all domain changes, the previous domain's license will be de-activated.
You may run multiple installations of Caribou CMS on one domain with a single license. Caribou CMS is licensed to an entire domain. This does not include subdomains (however, exceptions will be made for legitimate reasons).
You may transfer your license to anyone. If a domain change occurs, the previous domain's license will be de-activated.
