Forms & Custom Fields
Arguably Caribou's secret weapons, the Forms module and custom fields allow you to extend Caribou's functionality without any programming knowledge.
Form Builder
Add form fields and options easily with the Form Builder. Create things like Contact Forms for your website's frontend or manage new types of content by creating a new backend form. You can also add custom fields to system forms (products, content, users, and affiliates).
Submissions Database
Each form generates a new database in your system for form submissions. For frontend forms, you can easily view submissions that your visitors have made. For backend forms, you can use these databases to display new content in the frontend.
Form Plugins
Have an idea not currently included in the Forms module? Write or download a form plugin to extend form functionality. Form plugins are triggered upon form validation, data saving, and data editing.
Get Submissions by Email
Automatically be alerted to a new form submission (and its contents) with this feature. Submissions will still be stored in your database, of course.
Create a form in Caribou CMS
1) View the layout and elements currently included in your form and, 2) Add new elements such as text boxes, textareas, drop-downs, checkboxes, radio elements, dates, and file uploads to the form.
